In August I went to MTN Bank city to upgrade my contract, and i requested that they cancel my other contract on my 073 number. The lady gave me a few papers to sign then we continued with the upgrade and cancellation. In October Mtn debited an amount of R600, I called 808 and spent 30min waiting for them to answer their call and a very rude agent took my call. We spent over an hour on the line and they promised to cancel my contract and give me a refund. Again this month an amount of R500 was debited from my account whereas my contract is only R250.00. I have called their call centre on numerous occasions and no one seems to care. I have had my number since high school and since MTN cares less about that, I will take my business to their competitor coz they clearly don't need it. Your service is pathetic, in order for one to get through to a consultant you need to listen to the voice prompts for 30min and the consultants telephone etiquette is appalling. Just because we give you our banking details that does not mean you should debit our accounts as you please. I want my money in my account within 48hrs, the contract was for 24 months and u have debited me for 26months!
