Cancellation of debit orde

I paid off my contracts at the end of 2012, but did not cancel it immediately, still received the airtime and sms's until the end of the contract in July 2013. But Mtn stated to debit my account in August 2013, which I did not have a problem with because I did not cancel the contract when I was supposed to. I made numerous calls to the call centre (808) trying to cancel the contract, for more than 2 months... every month a debit was going off my account for different amounts. in November Yongama Lengisi: "I would like to confirm that there are no funds due to us from you after the migration to prepaid was done. At this point, MTN is in the process of finalising credits and a refund due to you. Please give me a little more time on this one but it should be resolved before the end of next week. I will also confirm the exact amount then." To my surprise I was still debited again in November. At the moment I'm getting sms's for me to pay more or my services will be suspended and legal actions taken. I'm certain had the cancellation been done when I asked for it in August, I wouldn't have been debited for all the other months. Can someone please desperately assist?
