I have taken out a 24 month ISP contract with Telkom. The absolute worst experience. I constantly have no internet and have to call the call centre where I am taken through the same IVR that wastes my time and money. My home line (Telkom again) is not working so I am billed using my cellphone to call this IVR.
A technician who picks up the call takes me through many actions in trying to fix this to no avail. He then tells me that he my line is capped so he has to put me back into the IVR queue. Could he not see this immediately, instead of me spending over 30 minutes, trying to fix what he knew wouldn't work.

Well after being on hold for ages again, I finally gave up. Please don't forget that I bought an additiona R78 topup earlier today via the same call centre.

I am into my 4th month on the contract, and I have only had 1 full week of continuous trouble free usage (just the week) after having to go to a Telkom store and get a new modem. Well here I am again, new modem, same problems, same IVR, and no better off. I wish I could speak to someone, anyone, who can really help.
