Data bundle flaw and terrible call centre service

I purchased a data bundle for my 3G three days ago and it isn't showing the data on my sim. Vodashop in Somerset Rd Greenpoint advised they can't assist (strange as they are suppose to be a service centre) and I should call the call centre for assist. This after they advised that there is a glitch with the new promo data 30 day bundles where customers can't see their balances!! When calling the call centre, Fatima advised that her system is offline and I would have to call back as she is leaving her shift at 3pm and won't be able to call me back. I asked if she could perhaps hand my query over to another consultant that could call me when they are back online. She advised that they don't do that and that I would have to call again. I told her that in any service industry it is custom (not to mention good customer service) to call a customer back! she advised that they are an inbound call centre and aren't allowed to call customers back to follow up. I am now without data to connect, while I have paid for the service.

I will be very surprised if anyone contacts from Vodacom and resolves my issue. Absolutely pathetic service and a product that doesn't work!
