Cancelled contract - still being billed

I cancelled my contract with MTN on the 1 October 2013 and ported my number to 8ta mobile.

The contract was cancelled as MTN lost my upgraded mobile phone REF: 103 871 074/103 997 848/104 022 901/104 085 958. My BIS was cancelled and the upgrade cancelled.

My bank account was debited this morning for an amount of R383-99. Apparently for an upgrade charge and BIS. I spoke to Melissa 105 673 821 this morning who advised that there is nothing she can do other than mark my query as urgent and send it to the Billing Dept. So much for customer care and thinking that I wouldn't have to deal with anybody from MTN again.
