On Friday the 25th October 2013 I purchased a 2GB data bundle using my loyalty points. I got an sms to say the purchase was successful.
An hour later it was not available and I phoned the call centre. I accepted their explanation of it can take up to 24 hours. Every call I have made since has been it can take up to 24 hours. The call was escalated and again, this can take up to 24 hours. Feels more like 24 days as every call is clear, up to 24 hours sir.
I have also since noticed that my available data remains stuck on 661 MB. For days now. This surely means I can legally use as much data as I want as their system is not functioning and they thus cannot prove how much data I am using? How must I control my data spend if MTN provides incorrect data?
I have escalated this to Icasa whom is as useless.
No confirmation from anyone at MTN or Icasa about what they are planning to do about his.
