MTN Data Tariffs a complete Rip Off

For the past two months now my phone bill account has come to a staggering R6000 and R10 000 respectively! I almost had a heart attack when viewing my statement. The culprit? PSD Calls. Now I take responsibility for using my phone no doubt - the bills have been paid on time I would like to bring to attention the following. I have downloaded an excess of about 10GB. Now if you do the math... it's about R245 for 2 GB of data prepaid! so that means I would pay just over R1000 for the data I used... which is bearable... But if you use data IN CONTRACT... the tariffs are crazy!!! Is this how MTN conducts business? White Collar Crime to catch unsuspecting consumers?
I have now signed up with Afrihost... 5GB for R145!! Heavens Saviour and I will be spreading the word to ALL that I know...
My MTN contracts will be cancelled in the next month (I have been an MTN subscriber since late 2005)
It really is a sad state of affairs when this sort of retaliation is necessary to be treated fairly..If only more people took action... I am hoping to change that..
