In May of this year my contract was expiring so I went ahead and terminated my contract in lieu of moving to another service provider because of endless issues with MTN. This I did via MTN's contact center, and paid the months billings up to date with the required month's notice of termination. About two day's later they contacted me back again to confirm that I wanted to end the contract which I confirmed once again. Now five months later my bank has informed me after I applied for a revolving credit plan that I have been turned down because I have an outstanding bill pending from MTN. They have been billing me even after I terminated my contract and subsequently spoiled my credit history. I called their call center yesterday and spent 45 minutes on hold, and never got to speak to anyone. I also sent their "customer care" (oxymoron of the year) yesterday, and have yet to receive a reply. And in about an hour, this complain will get a message posted beneath if from one of their representatives saying its being handled (which it wont have been). My next move is to take this to consumer protection council, as well as an attorney. Ive now had it up to the gunnels with these.
