ADSL Line dropping and incompetent service

I have had continuous problems with my ADSL line which keeps dropping. I have escalated it to Telkom on a few occasions. Most recently, one of their technicians phoned me and told me that I am too far from the exchange for a 4mb/10mb line but would refer it to some other department. they then phoned me and said that this wasn't the problem and they would investigate. They got back to me and said nothing is wrong. If nothing is wrong, then why does the line keep dropping every few minutes??!! I left a message on their Facebook page, they asked for my landline number which I gave to them and they said they would investigate. A day or so later, i got another message asking for the number. I told them I already gave it, they apologized and said they would look into it. Today I got another message asking for the number.

On top of all of this, I am still paying R900 per month to Telkom for intermittent service. I have asked how much I am going to pay less because of this but they have neglected to answer.
