I use MTN pay as you go for internet services. At the beginning of Oct I used R99 of my MTN airtime to purchase 500mb data- the data was not sent to me & the issue has STILL not been resolved.
I emailed them on 3 different email addresses & provided screenshots showing that the airtime had been deducted & data not credited. After much frustration & back & forth they credited me with 500mb 'fair use allowance' data- whatever that is. When my original data was depleted, the 'fair use' data did not kick in- instead I ran off my airtime. Waiting for resolution (still waiting), I needed to access online info for an exam & I used further airtime to purchase another 500mb data to use (this while the 'fair use' data just sat there); this purchase came with 250mb on a promotion.
This morning I did a balance check (one must continuously do this with MTN)- I had over 700mb available. I checked again a half hour later after accessing a few standard webpages and -500mb was gone. Another screenshot, another angry email to MTN. I want the 500mb NORMAL data they owe me from the initial complaint, and I want the - 500mb they took from me this morning. This level of incompetency is staggering
