Can anyone at Telkom please help me? My ADSL line has been dropping non-stop since Thursday 06 June. I called Telkom Customer support on Friday 07 June, and was told there was a Network problem. I then phoned Telkom Customer Support on Saturday 08 June, and was told there are no network problems. At which point I was told my line is fine. I asked for a port reset to be done, and the customer service consultant I spoke to told me that if the problem persists, it can be the router. The problem persisted, so I took the router back, and got a new router, but this did not fix the problem. I even got another router, and the line still keeps dropping.

I work office hours, and after hours I trade on the foreign exchange. I have lost $250 (which is -R2500) as a result of the line dropping. I have to constantly analyze the charts, so that I can sell before the market swings.

Please fix my line, so that I do not lose even more money as a result of the line dropping. Telkom is quick to charge re connection fee's (R171), but are Telkom prepared to compensate me for money I have lost, or offer me a discount on my account, due to me having problems?
