? Empty promises following complaint

I lodged a complaint on 22 August 2013 regarding being charged for data downloaded by a faulty handset under warranty. I was given the following reference number on the HelloPeter website in MTN's response on 31 August 2013: REQ:2599719
I have unfortunately not received any communication from MTN on the matter since, and am completely in the dark as to whether or not the matter is really being attended to, or if MTN's reply was just a way of saving face and brushing me off once again. I would appreciate personal communication from MTN as well as speady resolution of this matter. I am due to renew my contract with the company, and am at this stage seriously contemplating changing service providers.
