Bought bundle for BB No update for service 96 hou

On Sat 12 Oct - My son bought a bundle for his bb (communicating via bb whatsapp and email). It was not updated and he called Vodacom call centre to report it, in turn they said they had a problem with BIS and it would be sorted out in 24hours. Sunday, still no service, and he was given a ref nr, with another 24 hour wait. Monday 3pm still no service, and a reply sorry we meant 24 working hours time... Tues a request was made to escalate this complaint and he was told definitely Wed 1:15 it will be sorted it is now 2:03 and he still has no service.
This has cost him his spare minutes, he has had to buy airtime to make phone calls and send sms' to clients etc whereas he would use the free services, and also traveled to a meeting 45 mins away from where he lives to find it was cancelled as he did not receive the notification.
