I am a customer with Vodacom and I have a complaint with regards to the level of service I received when buying a once off 1Gb data bundle.

I purchased the data bundle initially on Friday, 27 September 2013 via the *111# function on the phone I am using. At approximately 13:00 I called the Vodacom call centre as the bundle was not activated/allocated to my phone. A guy who introduced himself as Xhabiso told me there was a problem with the allocation but the matter would be resolved within 24 hours and that he was going to raise a service request with the 'data allocation' department, i received a reference S3-T1V28-8VUB9. On Saturday, 28 September, the data bundle was still not allocated, I called vodacom again and was given a new reference number (S3-T1W26-6GU4X) and told to wait another 24 hours. On sunday, 29 September, i again called vodacom and told that the process takes 24 "working hours". During this whole weekend no one told me to go to a vodacom shop to sort this out eventhough i repeatedly asked the consultants i spoke to with regard to go myself to a shop because when on Monday, i went to a shop, i was able to buy the data and get it allocated in 5mins.
