I contacted the MTN coverage department to query about the cellphone signal in my suburb (Larrendale Brakpan).any calls to me go straight to voicemail and sms's dont come through. ive had my phone (Samsung S3) checked at a mtn branch and outside of my suburb the phone works perfectly.

The call to the coverage centre was answered by a gentleman whos name i couldnt hear over the line. When i stated my case his response was to ask how many bars i have on my cellphone. when i said 3 he told me its not a coverage issue and therefore not his problem. i was told to call the customer service line and try speaking to them. when i debated i believed it is a signal problem he said i must call the right department for my problem. i asked for a mail from him with his name and a ref number which he refused. im not one to lose my cool with people but i found myself losing my temper with this mans rudeness.

he gave me a number which i called and was put through to a operator (Cenotia).she was very slick and professional.she listened to what i had to say & logged my issue and i have received her details and a ref
number via email (6186996). Hopefully a solution is forthcoming.
