Are you serious???

I recently pulled a credit report and to my surprise found out that I still owe Telkom in the region of R3000. This is outrages as the account that I had with Telkom was paid in full over two years ago. The worst thing is that nothing has been updated on my credit record. I went to Telkom in Greenstone mall to query this and the assistant checked on his system and found that the account was indeed settled and that Telkom actually owes me R400. When I tried to follow up on this afterward I was told that I do not even exist on the Telkom Database now??? No record nothing!!! Yet I am sitting with the credit report proving that I was on the system. Is this how bad things have gone in this country, where big companies who promise you the world and deliver nothing? This makes me sick and I am fed up with this... I want my account cleared and my credit record updated!!!
