New Contract - no service since commencement

Good day,

I recently started a brand new contract with MTN (ported my number from Virgin Mobile). The procedure went very smooth and it was an absolute pleasure working with the Greenstone branch of MTN.

Unfortunately out of their control my phone has taken 2 days before it was active to make calls (an this service falls away). And up to now (almost 1 week since my contract started) I still am unable to use my bandwidth (GPRS, 3G, etc). No data usage is possible. I've been to the branch 3 times now and every time they phone the relevant parties who can assist and every time they say 2-24 hours to fix it and every day they fail. In fact, I just recieved a call again from Greenstone where they said that the problem should be solved. My GPRS is still not active.
I made specifically sure that it's not a problem on my side as I took the phone to the shop to make sure they have all the correct settings in place and installed.
