Bad planning, never have lines available!

When moving into my current home 6 years ago, it took MONTHS and TONS of frustration driving back and forth to the telkom store and hundreds of calls trying to get my telephone line installed due to lack of available capacity in my area. Finally came right, and have been happy for the last 6 years.

So, I have now bought a house, and on the 28th of August I thought I would give them plenty of notice to install a line in my new home on the 7th October 2013. Thought all was in order, until I get told yesterday that guess what - AGAIN, they don't have lines available where I am moving to and can only give me a line in 2014.

6 years later, they still have not caught up with the times and sorted out availability in the Durban north area. What makes it worse this time around though, is that the current tenants in the house HAVE a line, and are cancelling the line. Why on earth, can they then not give me the current line which already exists? The answer: they are not taking new clients as they are upgrading the area. So for the next 4 months no-one can get a telephone, even if they exist, because they are upgrading? Makes absolutely NO business sense, I need a line for my business!!!
