Waiting 6 weeks for post paid line installation

I would please like to find out why on earth we are waiting another 2 weeks for a post paid line to be installed when we have been waiting for nearly a month as it is.

The telephone pole was installed yesterday and they ran a line to the house and told us it would take no more than an hour for a technician to install the next day (today). We have to wait another 2 weeks (15th May) for it to be installed? That is utterly ridiculous.

I am now extremely displeased and rather furious because I have had no feedback on this matter. Today is meant to be "D Day" for the line to be installed IN the house, not just TO the house, and as of 3:30 there has been no contact or work done.

I don't even know what channel I am meant to complain through. Your phone complain line is always engaged (I seem to remember you are a telecommunications company? Great Job!)

Do we really have to wait a month and a half to get a post paid line installed in a high tech, suburban area (Durban North)? Sounds more like I live in a rural area considering the timeline!!

Can anyone from Telkom actually hear me? (echo... crickets... etc..)
