Account opened&reported but Im debited

My ID was and someone went to Festival Mall and opened an account with my details. I was approved on paper besides the fact that on the system it said in-progress when i came to querie. I then reported the matter to Telkom Forensic and sent all relevant Police Case details, affidavid etc and i was promised that investigation will commence on their side. I then called the callcentre last week and the agent could not help me block the account. Today I just got a debit order from Telkom mobile for the usage of the celphone or contract that i have no knowledge of. What upsets me is that I had reported this matter to Telkom but still I seems as if no one is attending to the matter. They Should have been more careful before granting credit and handing over cellphones.
