I purchased data bundles from Vodacom using *111# and then got an error message that the transaction can be finalised and I must try again later. I then re-did the process again and this time it went through. To my horror upon checking my balance I found that I had no airtime, so I called 111 which is the Vodacom Customer Care line, and how I wish I got the name of the consultant that assisted me, who told me that I had bought two R49 data bundles and I tried to explain to her that the first one didn't go through as it gave an error message that I must try again later. When I ask her why did I receive an error message whereas the transaction did go through she told me she doesn't know and all of a sudden she pretended not to hear me, when I asked her why is it that all of a sudden she cant hear me she responded that its the network. all I want is my R49 airtime back as according to me the only transaction that was finalised was ONE and not TWO.
