Ten days ago I called Cell C to report the fact that the data connection on my Speedstick and my IPhone, at my home, had become so slow as to be useless. Whereas previously I could download video clips as I watched them I now cannot even open YouTube.
On 9 Sept I was told that within 2-3 days someone would call me.By the 16th I had heard nothing and called again. A technician assured me he would call back before 16H00. The following day, having heard nothing I called again and a different technician told me that these matters can take "up to a week" to resolve. I explained that it had been over a week and she then said that it takes "over a week" to resolve. I asked her whether it would "be up to" or "over" and she insisted it would be "over" (no kidding). I asked her to tell me when I would be contacted and she said I should "just wait". I said that this could mean anything, it could mean a month and she insisted that it would not be a month.
Today after being put on hold for 21 minutes I gave up.
Ive just been to an 8ta store to buy a prepaid bundle, which I now have in my Cell C Speedstick and which is working very well indeed.
