My MTN contract has expired Feb 2013, instead of just cancelling my contract MTN continued to let me use my number and sim card.
However I have stated on numerous customary "it's time for an upgrade" calls from Mtn that I do not want to continue using Mtn as my service provider because of their expensive call and data rates.
Later I decided to let them switch my number to prepaid, this was confirmed in a call from MTN a month ago, they stated that I will receive a sms and then from there on I will be on the prepaid system. It is now 16 September 2013, they HAVE NOT switched my contract to prepaid.
Furthermore, they are still deducting the same contract amount PLUS the call and data charges from my bank account? HOW IS THIS NOT? Call charges I understand, but usually a phone is included into a contract, I feel that I should be paid back the amount they have been deducting from me since February 2013 and should just change my sim card to the prepaid system. BUT nobody is able to help me with this, all the consultants make empty promises. This is ridiculous.
