Vodacom
Unsolicited billing

Telecommunications

Vodacom has been allowing deductions of which I only became aware when querying my monthly statement. I want to know what role Vodacom plays: I found out that I was being billed a daily fee from eMobi via Integrat for WhatsApp and that this was not the most cost effective way to download WhatsApp. I feel that Vodacom carries a responsibility towards its consumers to check with their consumers if they did actually approve these deductions? I contacted Integrat, have no idea who they are and if they are a company in good standing. Integrat indicated they would refund me and could do so via Vodacom and yet when I contacted Vodacom's help line I was told I could not do it via Vodacom. What legal rights does Vodocom have to make deductions that are NOT transparen't to me as the consumer?
