Billing for contract account not exsisted

Vodacom phone my daughter in January 2013 that I still own them R8309.68 for outstanding contract that they claim I didn't pay. after 5 years. They claim they couldn't get hold of me in 5 years. I requested them to send me the contracts. They couldn't but send me threw a attorney Burnard, Raaff a statement that stated I'm in in credit with R754.07 on 8/12/2010. Then there's a statement send on airtime system on 3/10/2010 there was an invoice for R1346.99 minus JRN balance of R754.07 that brings it to arrears of R592.92. And that's it. Then Meera Angud of the Attorneys send me a letter stated to paid the full amount of R8309.68 and give me an offer for R6 500. Then I query it because I don't own Vodacom any many everything is paid up even according to the statement they send me. My last contract was only a laptop that I paid up in 2 years and not 3 years that was correct at the Shelly beach branch in 2008. I send and emails to Sydney who took over the case. At last he came back to me and only with I must pay but now its R6213.62 but Vodacom will take R4000.00 if I paid it in full. Its so unfair I paid every month so far R200.00 but for what, I don't own them any money.
