Our phones are on my wife's account with three numbers connected. Account number A1244374. I had a Blackberry phone previously with B.I.S activated on it. Suddenly I was billed - R1600 for data three months ago.
I thought that I made a mistake and somehow used data without knowing. The second month came and once again I was billed for about R1600. We phoned in got a number with no response. We were forced to pay the account again otherwise upgrade was impossible. Now I have the Samsung S4 and still I am billed about R1600 for data. When we phoned in it was mentioned that I somehow used data and did not stop the download it kept on downloading therefore the bill. This is not the case. My new phone has a function where you can block data if it exceeds a certain amount of data used. I have set my phone to do that from the beginning. I almost never used the phone for any data my first month. Maybe a few whats; app. messages. I have free internet at work and use that most of the time. Somehow data goes on to our account by mistake but M.T.N refuses to help us. I cannot afford my new bill and they will cut our phones. My account should not exceed R1500 a month but is standing on R3900.
