I took out a contract mid April and the premium amount was supposed to be R349.00 as agreed upon in writing. I could understand May's account as it was the whole of May and half of April. But for 3 months I was being charged R371.50 which is R22.50 more than I had agreed to. This may seem petty but R22.50 over 24 months is R540.00! I called in end May to be told that a value added service had been added to my account that I did not know about or agree to. The consultant then said that he would remove it. End June and July the same thing happened. So by the time the problem was actually resolved for the August bill, Altech was supposed to have reimbursed me R67.50 (R22.50 x 3) but I was charged R338.84 for the month of August, which means I was reimbursed R10.16. Am I the only one that can figure this out as it all seems pretty straight forward to me. I refuse to waste any more airtime talking to the store and I would like someone to deal with this.
