I have had a contract with Altech Autopage since 2011. I renewed my contract and upgraded already in April even though my upgrade date was in August. At the time the lady explained my new package to me and on the 31 of August I received a SMS notifying me that my upgrade was succesful. All of this correct. And also handled very professonally by Autopage.
This morning I received my bill from Altech Autopage with a due amount of a whopping R5200.00.
When I phoned them - the bill makes no sense.. Amounts are debited then credited back three times and when I phoned I was told that they have now backdated and billed me for the past three months, which is a bit unfair. I think. When I asked to speak to someone to try and arrange for this amount to be paid off in two months, I was told that the line will be suspended for two months, I will receive calls, won't be able to make any.. Which I feel is very unfair towards me, the user. I was never informed about this by any consultant when I did my upgrade, no one ever thought to inform me about this three months ago.
