Request for Account Termination not actioned

A new account was opened early in July 2013. Approximately a week later a telephonic request was made to terminate the service (due to poor performance of the ADSL service). The call centre agent advised that someone would contact me to discuss WHY the termination request was made. Several calls to the call centre was made in an attempt to confirm that the account will be closed. NO Contact was made BY TELKOM in an effort to determine WHY. At the end of July contact was again made with the Call Centre in an effort to CONFIRM the termination requested and a date of 4 August was confirmed. Thereafter FLORENCE called and attempted to avoid termination but it was eventually agreed that Termination should go ahead for the 4th August.

Apparently this agreement was not upheld and termination was planned for 30 August (agreed by who?) and hence I have an August Bill owing. I made no use of ANY ADSL or Data Sevices during August as the modem was disconnected due to my understanding that the Account was terminated.

Please arrange for credit for August and e: mail confirmation thereof.

Once this issue has been resolved I plan to apply for a 30Gig Month to Month ADSL 4/10Mb line.
