After being a LOYAL customer of MTN for the past 15 years, my first insurance claim has been rejected. According to them my phone was last used in June 2013, when in actual fact i lost it on wed eve 28/8. I swopped my sim card between my BB and Xperia due to the signal dropping. I assume this was because of the horrific weather we are experiencing in CT. According to MTN another number that i have never heard of was using the phone. The only 2 mtn sims i have is mine and my son's. According to Lukie, seeing that i activated BB on my phone, i had no intention of using my Xperia anymore... i dont think its is abnormal at all, many people use more than 1 cell phone - so i dont know why that would seem strange. Now my phone is lost and they dont want to honour my claim. I opted insurance with MTN has i have never had bad service or any bad experiences with them, clearly this is not the case anymore. I am deeply disappointed and disgusted! A loyal, PAYING ON TIME customer clearly means NOTHING!!!
