I had taken out a contract with Cell C in May 2013, with Cell C I received poor network converge in my area, after making several enquiries and complaints, I decided enough was enough and decided to cancel my contract in Aug. I had requested for a cancellation of contract & had handed in my phone on the 3rd August and was told that it takes 21 working days for a contract to be cancelled. I was using the sim card on another phone because I still had minutes, data and smses from previous months that I had not used and had carried over, on the 25/08/2013, when I had checked my balance, I had 01:44 minutes, 257 smses and 724.22 MB of data. My contract was cancelled on the 26/08/ 2013. Nobody had told me that it was cancelled, I found out when I tried to make a call that I was now on pre-paid. I called to confirm if my contract was cancelled, they said yes and I enquired about my unused minutes, smses and data that I had not used, they told me that that is now forfeited and I won't be refunded for that which I think is unfair since I paid for that and they took it away from me which is similar to. On top of that I will still be billed at month end for the entire subscription
