I have collected a Samsung S4 (Previously appy iphone user) from MTN at Melrose arch. I was told i needed to switch my data contrat to a voice, which was okay despite my having to forfeit 5gigs of data. I also lost more than 10000 loyalty points. I logged my concern regarging this as I had paid for it but I was told there was nothing that could be done. First issue.

THe new package comes with 350MB free data and I was mindful enough to let the guy in the shop assist me with the settings as well as my IT dept so that I wont exceed the 350MB. I also have uncapped at home and my iphone for general use during the day as it doesnt use as much data.before my usage reached 300MB not even the 350MB I bought a 1gig extra once off bundle. Imagine my surprise today when I see I have been charged R1700 for packet switched data calls. What a rip off. Surely this is a gross violation of my basic rights. MTN says they cannot give me a breakdown off the charges of where and when and how on a statement. THe best the could do is communicate verbally. I have been told I was charged for using over 350. Rubbish! I am taking this further. And even if so, what about my data forfeited. Second issue.
