Problematic cellphone with no help at all!!!

I took out a blackberry Z10 cellphone contract at the cell c phoenix plaza branch in febuary this year, after a few days i noticed my videos on phone did not work correctly.i was advised that i have a 7 day return policy and due to my busy work schedule i was only able to take the phone to get checked out at the Umhlanga Gateway branch as it was near to where i work, the guy at the store assisted by removing the battery off the phone & replacing it back on & the phone and videos seemed to work fine at the time this was on the 5th day of my 7 day return policy.the next day i realised the phone was still faulty but only had a chance to take it in on the weekend back to the plaza branch (this was the 9th day) and the manager their was not helpfull at all to my complaint as he said that i was over my 7 day return policy and didnt want to consider that i did take it to the gateway branch within my time frame.he said i have to book the phone in for a repaire and i cannot have it exchanged.unaware of my right as a consumer i agreed but however their where no courtesy phones availble so i left my number behind for them to contact me as soon as 1 was available.i have had no response since.
