POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM A BIG ENTERPRISE

Hi I purchased a Blackberry Phone on a 24 Month Contract from Cell C in the Phoenix Plaza Branch - 6 months ago. My phone broke 1 and a half month back so i took it in for repairs cause its on a waranty and its still a new phone i gave my phone to cell c on the 12-12-2012 for repairs they advised me that as soon as the phone is repaired they will call me, but yesterday 21-01-2013 they smsed me stating i should come and pick up the phone when i went to fetch my phone they said the phone has corrosion in it and cannot be repaired and theres nothing they can do i want cell c to explain to me how can they prove that i corroded a brand new phone. The consultant said its they piloicy to say its liquid damaged, secondly they did not advise me to take a insurance policy on the phone at time of purchase. After i was done in cell c i took my phone for a second opinion and they said the phone can be repaired. i would like to know how can cell c such a big company with professional technicians say the phone cannot be repaired are they just making easy money from consumers because how can i pay for something for the next 2 years when i am not using it.
