Out of box flop

Hi, I have been a vodacom customer for years and today was the first time that I had felt cheated and short changed, I purchased a blackberry z10 on the u-choose top up contract at the phoenix plaza. I filled in all necessary contract details as asked by the personnel before she opened the box, when the box was opened Wendy opened the phone cover, inserted the battery and turned the phone on, After a few operating explanations, I was told to not switch the phone off and to use till the battery dies b4 charging it again. On my return home, which is less than 10 minutes from the complex, I gave my wife the packet and as she opened the plastic bag, she felt the box abit warm, she then opened the box and picked up the phone which was the source of the heat, The phone was quite hot, I immediately phoned the branch and told them to which they replied that I can bring the phone in, which they will then send to the manufacturer to have it checked out and if the product is defective, it will be replaced as per out of box policy n if I want anothr fone I'd hav 2pay the entire contract., where's the custmer service?.u pay, produc defects in minutes, n now I mus wait maybe weeks, I JUST WANT THE PHONE REPLACE
