I recently (1 - 2 months ago) took out a data contract deal, which included a wireless modem. I had explained to the agent that I intent to replace my home broadband with this and it would need to accommodate all my devices and function as an always on facility. The agent advised that this package would be perfect. I have been using it at home since then, and realised that it in fact can only support 5 wireless devices and since it is a mobile modem, it does not have the same signal reception as larger static modems with additional antennae. So I called the telkom call centre and explained my situation, telling them that i would like to return my device and swop it for a device more suited to my needs, as i was misinformed upon purchase. NO ONE could help me at all, i was sent from data to accounts to sales etc... No one could even refer me to anyone helpful. I explained to them that i merely want a different device, and i am willing to increase my monthly payments if necessary for the better device (the LTE Home Modem). I have since been trying to contact the stores, i have called A-Z with NO ANSWER. I am at a complete loss, and regret choosing telkom mobile! HIGHLY DISSATISFIED!
