I recently upgraded my daughters phone from blackberry to Samsung S3. We received a huge bill of R2168.08after paying R145 to R150pm. I reported to them that the billing is incorrect but still received closure and correction on our bill. this is the last response from MTN dated 3rd July and we not even using blackberry anymore. The srevice is pathetic so we wou;d like a refund on our account for messed up billing and MTN still cant prove the account.

Please be advised that the reason for the spike in your account is because of additional data charges which amounted to R2168.04 excl. VAT.

Kindly note that when using a Blackberry device as a tethered modem, video or audio streaming and Internet browser, customers will use the internet or myMTN APN and are billed in accordance with their chosen MTN tariff plan. Downloads are not free. Third party applications will be billed accordingly.
