2mb ADSL line not working according to specificati

Almost a month ago, I had a service installed - ADSL and phone. From day 1 there was issues, as the line did not give me what it was supposed. I was contact by an assistant of some sort on 2013/08/08 and even given an escalation reference number F172260. The so called 2 Mb line is performing at 180 kbps speed. There is no use even having this line - this speed is on a very good day. I on my own already replaced the POTS filter, tried another modem, but nothing. The speed stays the same. On 2013/08/13 I was contacted again by another person, which then said that she can pick up that there is excessive noise on the line, and that a technician would be dispatched immediately. She also committed to phoning me back the next day to confirm that everything is sorted out. Up to now, nothing was done, no one phoned back, and to top it all off, I got and account for the service, of which I can hardly use. Hopefully this will do the following:
1. My line sorted out and fixed to work as its supposed to.
2. A credit be passed against the account, until is working to full capacity.

This is really terrible service from Telkom. Maybe Neotel would have been a better option.
