Cell C
Still no data service since 16th July

I have logged numerous calls with Cell C technical and customer support since their data service in Westdene disappeared and became almost non existent since about 16th of last month. This service used to be fantastic. I could downlaod at speeds of over 8Mbps and use Skpye with video no problem. Now it's gone and I cannot get an answer form anyone. It's now a month later. The connection is spasmodic and almost zero, timing out most of the time. Every time I call the call centre they give me a reference number. When I call back they don't know anything about that number and want to give me another one. They tell me that they are working on it. A few weeks ago I was told that the technical guy would be checking my area at 11h00 that day. To date nobody has ever called me back or offered any explanation. This is unacceptable. Cell C advertise their wonderful service but they cannot deliver consistently. I am isolated with no reliable data service.
I am taking advantage of this temporary availability since I've been trying to log on to this site for days.
