Incompetent, Poor Servuce from Telkom

In June I asked for my ADSL line to be cancelled due to the fact that Telkom was offering me 512kbps. I was told that I would have to give a 30 notice and use the pathetic service in the mean time. Last month I spoke to account enquiries and they told me that I will still be billed but will be reimbursed this month
I called this morning and spoke to Zainab and she told me that she had escalated it cancellations and that someone from cancellations and she herself would come back to me today. Neither has happened.
The initial escalation was 521627, the downgrade ref is: 80121285a and the cancellation ref is: toc9730635100613.
Nomfundo has launched another dispute today ref: 27008377.
I am hoping, and praying that someone, anyone with a competency tick to their name to please rectify the situation.
I would also like to know why the ADSL was not cancelled and what disciplinary steps have been taken against the person who failed to see the cancellation through!
