Stay away from Neotel!! Terrible service!!

I reported a fault with my internet last Friday morning and because it was a long weekend and Neotel does not do weekend servicing, had to wait until Monday for someone to attend. They say (a LlE) that all problems are dealt within 24 hours. They did not allocate my problem when I notified them (Friday), they started the clock on Monday, which was unacceptable and I demanded they follow through with their 24 hour commitment.

Eventually, two bozos from Ellies rocked up and replaced my hardware but unknown to me, they did it wrong. The internet was down in early evening again. I called Tuesday, got another "24 hour" thing, someone would call blah blah. Didn't happen. I called Wednesday, demanded someone check the system, someone arrived, checked the modem and software side, agreed it was the hardware wrongly installed.

I have now called perhaps 10-12 times yesterday Wednesday morning (it's 1pm Thursday) and NO-ONE will tell me when anyone will attend to the problem. I just tried calling the supervisor Quinton who refused to take my call and said "he would phone me back right away", that was 40 minutes ago. Expect this from Neotel folks. No wonder SA is in the internet Dark Ages.
