I upgraded my contract with Vodacom on 19 July. Delivery was received 3 days later, and I started to set up my new phone (samsung galaxy 3 mini) After vodacom R133 call time from me in 30 minutes which they blamed on internet usage I decided to cancel the upgrade. This was after being transferred to 3 departments and being on the line for about 30 minutes only to be told I need data bundles which the upgrades department omitted to tell me when I upgraded. It is now almost one month since I cancelled the upgrade and I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE HANDSET TO BE COLLECTED. I have called the customer services call center hundreds of times, waited for up to 47 minutes only to have my call cut. The last time I called I was told it had been escalated (AGAIN) and the courier would collect. I AM STILL WAITING AND NO CALL. To top this all off, I was in a branch of vodacom a week before all this and on my customer profile it said LOW VALUE CUSTOMER.. what a wonderful way to refer to the people who keep you in business. I will be cancelling my contract in its entirety, o and I'll open my business account with the new provider too. Low value customer... think again!
