I received a call from the upgrades department confirming that I was due for an upgrade. They gave me 2 options I could either upgrade to a Blackberry top up for R175.00 which includes BIS or I could opt for the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini top for R185pm which includes a R115 minutes and 100megs of data for the month. I was informed that my new tariff will be effective from the 1 July 2013 . After switching simcard and setting up my applications on my Samsung after the 01 July I received a message that i have reached 50% of my bill only to discover that i am still on the weekender off peek minutes. I then called Vodacom to solve this problem and to back date my subscription as agreed telephonically. Whilst trying to solve this problem i was transferred to 3 different departments and no-one wanted to take the responsibility of there actions and yet they blamed every other department. I called yesterday to the migration department and they confirmed it will only be affective as of 01 August 2013 and that i will be responsible for the off peak tarrif (clearly bridge of contract) then i had to call the rewards department and still waiting on there call back. Daylight.
