PHONE NOT WORKING

I have a upgrade on friday 09/08/2013. it was a samsung s 4 mini. i have told them that i must charged 2 time a day so that i can use the phone. i didn even have time to do anything on the phone because it must charged. i have asked people to do the settings so that i not using so mutch battery life but it didnt do anything. now they want to sent it back to johannesburg then they will let me know if there is some fault on the phone of battery. i must be out of a phone for 7-14 day's. but the contact must be paid at the end of the month? i have asked if there is a possiblity that i can get another phone only if there is fauld on the phone.
