Brand new Samsung Galaxy, Battery Faulty

Good day, My wife purchased a Samsung S4 Galaxy about 2 months ago on her Upgrade. We charge the phone as instructed, Use it till its dead then charge till full again. Barely 2 months or so old and battery is swollen, Phone keeps switching off etc. Making it impossible to use the phone & losing a lot of touch with clients as I use the phone for business. I went into store about 3 weeks ago to complain & see what can be done. They then explained that they need to send battery away as well as the phone for 21 days. I asked for a loan phone & they said they would get back to me. a week or two down the line and still no response I went back again, still no loan phone and no response or feedback from them, Pathetic service if you asking me. I cant understand if its only the battery at fault why do we need to send both battery and phone in. Took phone to Samsung store in canal walk, the guy there said its definitely the battery that needs replacing. Now are they waiting for the battery warranty to expire before they let me know something or what. This is not good service at all, I asked if I can take the phone and battery myself to where they send it, durbanville. Pls can someone call
