I have been a Cell C client for close on 5 years so one can imagine, having not ever changed my sim card, it is now quite old and not working correctly. i called the call centre on Thursday, 8th August 2013 to find out where and how i can have a sim swop done, but to a micro sim for use on my Samsung S4. I was told to go into any Cell C store and not asked to produce any documentation. Upon arrival in the Westgate Mall branch on Friday morning i was informed that i would need to produce my original ID and was given a lengthy explanation as to why. I explained to the gentleman what i was told by their call centre agent and that i was about to leave for the long weekend and needed to have my sim card fixed OR be without a phone for the weekend, still he told me there was nothing he could do, only once i threatened to go next door to Vodacom and get my number ported was he somewhat willing to assist. he informed me to go to a Pep store and get a simcard as they do not require any documentation and then he can help me, this of course was not true, i decided to leave, furious and still not assisted. on Monday i went to the Centurion branch and was still not assisted! why am i with cellc
