No ADSL services in Constantia, Cape Town?!?!?

Dear Telkom

I would like to escalate a problem regarding the installation of a voice/ADSL line in my new premises. Sadly, I'm having no joy with the company to date and urgently require a solution as my existing broadband contract is about to expire.

Initially, it seems my order was lost (reference 435202 - 2013/08/05) and I then had to replace it - new order number 14550076. Contact person Alana. I've had no official feedback so I messaged a company rep through one of your social media channels. His response as follows:

"Sorry for being the bearer of bad news, there are presently no spares in your area, your order was parked and has been linked to a project to increase capacity, however there is no ETR presently available and unable to find any indication that it will be completed this financial year."

I'm absolutely perplexed as to how you can not have adequate services infrastructure in one of Cape Town's most affluent areas. This must amount to very significant lost revenue. Surely this needs to be escalated to the highest level and prioritised?

Please would you be kind enough to bring this to management's urgent attention and send me a reference number.
