I called Telkom on the 11/06/2013, to place an order for Telkom Simple. The order was placed, and I was impressed with my service, they had indicated that the order was now with the technical department to ensure that the infrastructure for the new line is available. All well, shortly after this, I received an sms indicating that the installation will happen on the 20th of June 2013, I had then made special arrangements for this day, and well Telkom just managed to WASTE my time. I then get told, "sorry, there is not an available ADSL port for installation" - so now my question is, WHAT THE FREAK DID THE TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT DO THEN? Up until now, I have been very calm. I call 10210 selected option 2, then 3. I had spoken to Boikhyano (or something very similar to that name) and had requested feedback by 12:30 today, it is now 15:30 and I still have not heard from him. Telkom better sort this out by tomorrow, for all the inconvenience I have been caused. Surely if the order goes to the technical department to ensure that infrastructure is available, they should do exactly that, and not sit on their backsides doing absolutely squat.
At latest, I demand my ADSL be installed Monday.
