I cancelled my Telkom Line and internet in Nov 2012. I was informed that I have to give a month's notice, so the service will end only in December 2012.December 2012 the service was ended as promised, but I received a bill in Jan which billed me from Jan 2013 to Feb 2013.I went to the local branch (Jeffreys Bay) and they informed that they can't assist me and that I must phone the call centre. I phoned the call centre and spoke to Papi at the accounts department. He confirmed that there's a hold up on the account but it shows that the service ended in December 2012. He referred me to the technical department and the lady there logged a fault on her side. She said its not a man-made error and that we have to wait for the technicians to attend to the fault before the service is completely ended. She referred me yet again to the accounts department to request that they debit my account for the billing of Jan - Feb. The lady was very unhelpfull and said they cant debit the account until service is completley ended, she also said that TELKOM doesnt notify you once this is sorted out and that I should phone again (not giving a specific date or time), before they can debit my account.
