Account closure blatantly ignored

At the end of December 2012 I went into a Telkom Cresta branch with the letter requesting my Telkom business account to be closed. This was faxed to by the Cresta branch to 088 031 363 3505. I received no feedback. In February 2013 I then called the call centre. They could pulled up letter which they confirmed that they had received. I was assured the account was closed and apologiesed for any inconvenience. During the postal strike I did not receive any accounts and was therefore unable to confirm if this was true. I have not used the phone since the middle of 2012 since it was out of order in any case. On receiving my bill in April I sent another fax to the number above detailing my account was still not closed. I have subsequently stopped paying for this account that I don't use and have anyway cancelled in December 2012. I have now again received a new bill with interest still charging me for this account. Telkom, PLEASE CLOSE my account, credit any interest and other charges and refund me any money I have paid since January 2013. I BEG YOU. Then please send me a confirmation that the account is closed.
